Who we are?
Nakshatra is the Astronomy and Science club at National Institute of Technology, Trichy (NITT). We are constantly on the lookout for stargazing, simulations and blogging! From our flagship festival, Stardust to our everyday debates, Nakshatra makes for an amazing place to hang out with space enthusiasts!
What we do?
We’re here with a mission to create enthusiasm and delight in Astronomy and Science! We conduct various workshops and sky mapping sessions throughout the year. This, combined with our blogs, helps us expand the reach of the subject while simultaneously creating appreciation for the scientists and engineers in the field! We’re a team on a fun journey filled with exploration and admiration of the sciences!

Stardust is our flagship event where enthusiasts from all over the world gather to spread the reaches of science! With numerous workshops, student lectures, guest lectures, stargazing sessions and competitions, Stardust makes for an exciting time at Nakshatra!
